Stand 4: Netsounds

The Netsounds project, started on Nov 2008, aims to transfer into European broader context a reflection on learning potential and impact of the use of music technologies in Education, by following the conceptual background of the binomial of music and technology . The Netsounds scope is to integrate the action of educational institutions and private companies to support the innovation in music education within the education and training systems in Europe. The Netsounds project wants to explore the future of web-based music education and to facilitate the exchange a of music products, knowledge and good practices in applying Digital Technology in music education.

Chiara Piccolo, MENON, Italy
Chiara Piccolo holds a BA from the Università Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples (Italy) in Education Sciences. She has managed educational projects funded by the Campania region for socially disadvantaged children from 2002 to 2005. She then joined (2006) the Brussels office of S&T, a Turin based consulting firm with focus on social and educational programmes before moving to the MENON network in 2009. Her main experience and interests relate to education and training analysis of e-learning and lifelong learning and monitoring/forecasting of E&T evolution in using ICT tools. She is currently in charge of several EU funded projects.
