Carla Pickering is a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC and is part of the team that support School Report, the BBC's news-making project for 11 to 16-year-olds. She has been involved in the project since its conception six years ago, and is the member of the team responsible for developing teaching resources. Before joining the BBC, she was an English secondary school teacher.
