Philippe Van Meerbeeck

Philippe is Strategic Policy Coordinator at VRT, the Flemish public broadcaster in Belgium. He has a Master degree in Social Communication at Erasmus Hogeschool, Brussels and was previously programme manager for documentary at VRT. Philippe is/was member of EBU Documentary Group, European Documentary Network, National Coordinator INPUT, Executive Council FIAT/IFTA, CONTOUR, Flemish Film Fund, Flemish Commission for Audiovisual Arts. He teaches documentary & use of archive at Ghent University.

VRT, the Flemish Radio- & Television Network is the public broadcasting network of the Flemish Community in Belgium. VRT's objective is to 'reach a maximum number of viewers and listeners with a range of programmes which excite and satisfy the interest of viewers and listeners.'
