Natasha Whiteman

Natasha Whiteman is a lecturer in the Media and Communications Department at the University of Leicester. Prior to this, she completed her PhD and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Institute of Education, University of London. Her publications examine the ethics and methods of online research, the ethics of contemporary media audiences, and the practices of online fan communities.
She is the author of Undoing Ethics: Rethinking Practice in Online Research (2012, Springer).
Natasha is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Association of Internet Researchers, and part of the Steering Group for the AHRC-funded Digital Reading Network.
