Bernadette Meagher

Bernadette Meagher is BA (Hons) in Public Management graduate from the National University of Ireland and holds a FETAC/NQAI Train-the-Trainer qualification. She is project coordinator of a number of national and international digital engagement initiatives based around the use of technology in education. For over 5 years now she has been involved in the financial monitoring and reporting of externally funded projects with organisations such as; European Union (Life Long Learning Prog), Aga Khan Foundation, Dormant Accounts Fund, UNESCO, Dept. of Education, local partnership agencies and Industry.
Current projects include: School in a Box, FÍS Film Project, FÍS Bookclub, FÍS Interactive (www.fis.ie). Past projects include Eurocreator, Digital Cre8or, Digital Media Centre and mTraining.

Bernadette has a demonstrable track record in organising complex large scale events, such as the annual FÍS Film Festival. Additionally she is Research Assistant for the Digital Inclusion Champions of Europe (DICE) and a key contributor to the development of tailor made quality assurance frameworks for evaluation & monitoring of funded initiatives.
She is currently a student on the MSc in Cyberpsychology programme at the Institute of Art, Design & Technology and the PG Certificate in Teaching & Learning for Higher Education Special Purpose Award.
