The Film Archive at the Swedish Film Institute is one of the oldest in the world, it's is to mission to collect, catalog, preserve, restore and make the Swedish film heritage available. With the Swedish film heritage means all films, both Swedish and foreign, feature films as documentaries, animations, commercials, newsreels, etc.

On filmarkivet.se you have the opportunity to see the unique moving image material from the archives which are now available; mostly short, documentary, magazine and commercial, which reflects a Swedish century of transformation and the emergence of modern society.

The International Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media

The International Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media, financed by the Swedish government and UNESCO, was established in 1997 by the Nordic Information Centre for Media and Communication Research of the Nordicom Göteborg University, in Sweden.

The Clearinghouse collects and documents research and other information to increase awareness and knowledge about children, youth and media across the world. By means such as yearbooks, newsletters, joint projects and databases, the Clearinghouse aims at broadening and contextualizing this knowledge, thereby increasing awareness and media literacy. Publications, events, links and databases are also available on the website.

Court introduction

This web-based court introduction (Rättegångsskolan på webben), created by the lawyer and information officer Ulf Hjerppe and administered by the Crime Victim Compensation and Support Authority (http://www.brottsoffermyndigheten.se), explains what happens before, during and after court proceedings to those people who are required to make an appearance in court (crime victims, witnesses, relatives and perpetrators).

BUFF filmfestival

BUFF is an international film festival for young people, which has been running annually in Malmö, Sweden for 27 years.
his week-long festival includes a media education seminar arranged by the association Filmomediepedagogik.se (http://www.filmomediepedagogik.se/) which is a non-profit organisation given the task of stimulating and distributing film and media teaching activities.
