Timeglider is a data-driven interactive timeline application. The user can "grab" the timeline and drag it left and right, and zoom in and out — much as one would with a mapping app — to view centuries at a time or just hours. They can create create event spans so that they can see durations and how they overlap. Being web-based, Timeglider lets one collaborate and share easily.

All images are available on demand in digital form. Search online or use the expertise of professional scientific and historical researchers to find images. Wikiversity is a learning community which aims to further the discovery and distribution of knowledge by helping people to learn and to share learning resources. Users can use Wikiversity to find information, ask questions, or learn more about a subject, to explore knowledge through advanced study and research and also to share their knowledge about a subject with others by building learning materials.
Wikiversity is available in 15 different languages, with a different number of learning resources for every language, varying from a few hundreds to over 20k.
The library of learning materials is growing and contains materials of all types, including a wide variety of multimedia course materials. They are designed, not just for self-study, but also as material which can be used in your classroom.

The contents are aimed at the use in primary education classrooms. Each content is composed by attractive images, clear and short texts and a list of related contents for further deepening.
The teacher section provides them with “The highlights of the week”, files to download for the use in the classroom and an overview of the news and activities of the week.

Knowmia - video lessons database
Knowmia is a video lessons database. It contains more than 8000 lessons on a wide range of subjects from all sort of sources and with teachers' help to make each lessons properly tagged and easily searchable. Teachers using the tools offered by Knowmia can create lessons for their own class but also contribute these lessons to the greater community. Some teachers use lessons from Knowmia in the classroom while others assign them to students as homework.
MyKnowmia is one of the tools of this database and it is described as the place where students and teachers can see and access their classes and assignment. For students, that's where they go to view and do assignments. For teachers, that's where they go to create, assign and monitor assignments. Most of the home assignment tools will be launched soon and are not available just yet. Home assignments can be personalised and it is possible to monitor students’ progresses.
