Anneleen Cosemans

Anneleen Cosemans holds an MA in Romance languages (K.U.Leuven) and a Msc. in Italian Linguistics and Literature (Università degli Studi di Urbino). In 2008, she started as multimedia innovation coach for AVNet. Her role consisted of advising and assisting colleagues and teachers (but also outside partners) on their choices and applications of appropriate multimedia and audiovisual technologies for education and research. Since September 2009, she leads an expertise cell within AVNet specialised in educational technology and lifelong learning. She is also actively involved in the development of new services such as a streaming video portal, weblectures, livestreaming and webconferencing for the University and its Association. On a more conceptual level, she has a responsibility in the coordination of the design of a coherent strategy towards lifelong learning at the K.U.Leuven - within the Working Group on Lifelong Learning. To gain expertise on both subjects (educational technology and lifelong learning – or the combination) AVNet also takes part in a series of (international) research projects.
