Nathalie Labourdette

Nathalie Labourdette is currently head of EBU TRAINING. She joined the EBU in January 1999 where she built a strategy and a Brand “EBU TRAINING - A knowledge
marketplace”. EBU TRAINING defines 5 training portfolios to address the media market challenges of the next 3 years.

Previously, she spent some years in Brussels at the European Commission where she was administrator in the Audiovisual Policy unit, in charge mainly of the dossiers “Protection of minors and human dignity in the audiovisual sector” (the Internet, television, etc.) , “Culture & Employment” at the Directorate-General X (currently DG EAC) .

Born in France and educated in France and Belgium (Political Science, Business Law and Management, International Law), she has been for ten years a very active producer of documentaries and works of fiction, has moved on to film distribution and has also spent some time in Sweden, producing programmes for Radio Sweden.

She is also President of the EBU Pension fund.
She is a member of the “Media Literacy” Experts groups and “Audiovisual sector Social Dialogue Committee” to the European Commission.

She is a member of ASBU Training Centre Consultative Committee.
