CAMELOT stands for "CreAting Machinima Empowers Live Online language Teaching and learning" and is a two-year EU-funded project as part of the LLP Key Activity 3 strand (2013-2015) aimed at investigating the use of machinima in language education through the lens of task-based learning. The nine consortium partners produce machinima in a variety of European languages; field test how the machinima can be integrated into language learning contexts at different levels of proficiency; research the results of all stages of the project; and develop a teacher training aimed at helping teachers to make and use their own machinima.
